Food Ambassador / Food Runner in Lanse, Michigan at Coconut's Fish Cafe

Food Ambassadors at Coconut's provide the story behind our food, and information that enhances our customers' experiences. While some restaurants use food runners simply to deliver a meal, our Food Ambassadors educate our customers while instructing them how to make the most of their meal at Coconut's.

This valuable member of our team is responsible for ensuring a guest's order is accurate and meets quality standards prior to speedily delivering it to the guest.

• Provide teamwork and support to other team members.
• Responsible for interacting with guests in a friendly manner with a smile.
• Ensure orders are prepared as ordered prior to delivering to the guests' tables.
• Responsible for delivery food to guests' tables.
• Upon delivery to guests' tables, explain how to properly eat a taco, difference between fish & chips, and where the condiments are.
• Responsible for assembly, packaging, and announcing ready ToGo orders.
• Thank guests as they are leaving.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining area.
• Adhere to company standards, including personal hygiene and appearance.
• Adhere to health department codes regarding food sanitation and handling.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Be able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 60 pounds.
