Job Description
We are currently hiring for a Half-Time REGISTERED NURSE PATIENT NAVIGATOR to work day shift within our Perioperative Services Department.
Compensation Range:
$41.51 - 66.41 per hour
Non Exempt
Sign on Bonus of $7,500
Night and weekend shift differentials up to $6 per hour!
Compensation package is based on your specific qualifications for the role.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- At least 3 years of inpatient or outpatient orthopedic nursing experience required.
Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse Patient Navigator uses their perioperative-specific clinical experience and knowledge to navigate surgery patients through the perioperative diagnostic and treatment process. The Patient Navigator also performs pre-anesthesia testing (PAT) for surgery patients. The Patient Navigator establishes a positive and respectful relationship with patients and their families, and plays an essential role in facilitating a positive experience and outcome.
