We specialize in trauma-informed, holistic care that’s just as effective in a therapy room as it is during a sound bath or healing justice circle. The Opportunity: Fully Licensed Clinician / Social Worker

We’re calling in heart-led, justice-minded Clinicians to help us expand the reach of our mission. If you’re someone who sees therapy as both an art and a responsibility—and who can hold space for others without judgment—we want to hear from you.

You’ll Be Doing Things Like:

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care)
• Completing biopsychosocial assessments and writing treatment plans that actually make sense
• Weaving in holistic practices like mindfulness, art therapy, and somatic work
• Supporting clients in crisis and collaborating with community partners, case managers, and social service heroes
• Keeping documentation on point (COMAR and Medicaid won’t chase you down)
• Showing up for the community at Essential Guidance wellness events like sound baths, healing circles, and whatever we dream up next

What You Bring to the Table:

• A Master’s in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology
• Full licensure in Maryland (LCPC or LCSW-C)
• A passion for working with justice-involved, trauma-exposed, or marginalized populations
• Experience or interest in holistic/creative practices (bonus points for expressive arts, breathwork, or somatics!)
• Empathy, presence, cultural humility, and good vibes
