Description:

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking an Electro-Mechanical Engineering/Entry Level Designer Technician with 2+ years' experience for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay: $23–$36/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 40 hours/week

Summary:

Responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical systems and components. This role requires strong attention to detail, technical proficiency, and collaboration with internal departments and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
• Assemble, test, and maintain electronic components per engineering instructions and manuals.
**Software proficiency (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks).

• Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure quality standards
• Operate and maintain production equipment for follow-up maintenance
• Analyze and record test results; prepare written documentation
• Collaborate with engineering and other departments to solve technical problems
• Provide recommendations for system improvements and upgrades
• Understand and interface with PLCs, DSE Controllers, and ECUs
• Use relevant tools and equipment proficiently
• Maintain strong attention to detail and precision in all tasks
• Ensure compliance with HSE legal and company requirements
• Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an electro-mechanical or similar role
• Familiarity with high/low voltage systems, automation control, and diesel generator sets
• Knowledge of material management systems and generator component functions
• Proficient in office software
• Strong English reading and writing skills
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated, cooperative, and service-oriented
• Ability to work independently and in teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Willingness to share knowledge and resources
• Commitment to confidentiality and company values
