Medical Assistant:

Looking for a charismatic, enthusiastic, experienced Medical Assistant to join our amazing family-oriented team. Applicants should have familiarity with Electronic Health Records, a pleasant demeanor for assisting patients and willingness to work well with others. Responsibilities:

· Welcomes patients by greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering or referring inquiries.

· Prepares patients to see the doctor by reviewing/updating medical history, medication history and taking vital signs.

· Completes Medication refills and prior authorizations/pre-certifications.

· Responsible for all clerical functions, including faxing, scanning, filing, mail/correspondence flow, electronic organization of files, etc.

· Responsible for daily phone coverage functions.

· Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.

· Maintain safe and clean exam rooms by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Optimizes patients' satisfaction, provider time, and exam room utilization.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
