Job Description

  • Position Summary
    • Medical Doctor is responsible for diagnosing and treating medical conditions, disorders, and diseases through the application of specialist medical skills and knowledge. Based of their findings, they prescribed treatment and medications to attempt to heal any illness or injuries and for disease prevention and management. They provide medical care related to pregnancy or childbirth and diagnose, treat, and help prevent, diseases of women, particularly those affecting the reproductive system. May also provide general medical care to women.
  • Education
    • Medical Doctor - Required
  • Experience
    • 2-3 Years - Preferred
  • License & Certification
    • Professional License with State of Practice - Required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required
  • Core Job Functions
    • Refers patients to specialists if needed. Maintains liaison with other disciplines, such as social services, nutritional speech therapy, physical therapy, pastoral care, and pain management. Implements plan of care.
    • Educates patients with regard to their medical condition. Comprehensive review of the patient's medical history is performed and documented. Consults with other medical professional and physicians when needed.
