About This Position

Description:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Application Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical expertise, system selection guidance, and application support to clients, sales teams, and project stakeholders. This role requires a strong understanding of HVAC system design, product application, and industry standards. Applicants must be able to be on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with sales teams to determine customer requirements and recommend appropriate HVAC solutions.

· Review project specifications, drawings, and design documents to ensure compliance with client needs and applicable codes.

· Select and size HVAC equipment such as air handling units (AHUs), chillers, cooling towers, fans, and controls.

· Prepare technical proposals, submittals, and application documentation.

· Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers and internal teams.

· Assist in troubleshooting system performance issues and recommending solutions.

· Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).

· Experience in HVAC design, applications engineering, or a related roles is a plus.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, load calculations, and selection software.

· Familiarity with ASHRAE standards, building codes, and industry best practices.

· Proficiency with CAD, Revit, or similar design software is a plus.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

· Problem-solving mindset with the ability to multi-task.
