Registered Nurse (Rheumatology) at Giacare Inc – Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada

In anticipation of a future government contract award, GiaCare Inc. is accepting applications for experienced, civilian Registered Nurses (Rheumatology) to work alongside the 99th Medical Group in support of Nellis Air Force Base (Las Vegas, Nevada).

Qualifications:

Experience: Must have at least 1 year experience in nursing after graduation. Prior experience in rheumatology, infusion, or oncology preferred.

Degree/Education: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), or The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Certification:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)

Licensure/Registration: Must have a permanent, full, and unrestricted Registered Nursing license to practice nursing in a US State, District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.

Duties:

• Manages patient care requirements within the unit as well as coordinates with ancillary departments and outside organizations to ensure the continuum of care.

• Is accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel.

• Participates in the orientation and training of newly assigned personnel, as appropriate

• Participates in peer review

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for adult and geriatric patients

• Ability to synthesize data from a variety of sources and make appropriate clinical decisions.
