Join our team to provide athletic training care to National Trail schools. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with athletes, coaches, and administrators while delivering top-quality care in an exciting secondary school setting.What We Offer:Supportive, team-oriented leadership with a strong focus on professional growth.Free annual continuing education presentations plus access to an online CE subscription.Flexible summer scheduling to support work-life balance.Key Responsibilities:Provide athletic training coverage at all OHSAA-sponsored athletic events hosted at the assigned school.Collaborate with the athletic director to create and manage the athletic training budget and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment.Develop and maintain comprehensive, venue-specific emergency action plans.Foster positive working relationships with administrators, athletic directors, coaches, and RN staff to ensure coordinated care.Work Schedule:The role requires adaptability with varied hours based on practices and athletic schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- In cooperation with the referral source, provides care to individuals with orthopedic problems associated with athletic injuries, trauma, and disease process, including being involved with the development of injury prevention programs for athletes on the field and in the clinic.
- Involved with the rehabilitation process by performing a wide variety of treatment procedures consistent with orthopedic care.
- Responsible for keeping the sports medicine physical therapist updated as to how patients are responding to treatment and documenting this data as it relates to the goals of the plan of care when serving as a member of the physical therapy team.
- Involved with the full spectrum of youth-adult outpatient orthopedic patients and the physically active individual.
- Bachelor of Science degree.
- Current licensure from the Ohio OT, PT and AT Board.
