About This Position
We are seeking a visionary and seasoned leader to drive strategic marketing, business development, and technology evangelism for our Mobile IoT Consumer Business Unit. This role is ideal for a candidate with approximately 20 years of experience in MEMS and XTALs, who thrives at the intersection of technology innovation and market strategy.
You will be responsible for shaping and executing go-to-market strategies, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities, and positioning SiTime’s timing solutions as essential enablers in next-generation consumer IoT applications—including wearables, smart glasses, and mobile health devices.
- Define and execute marketing strategies for MEMS and XTAL-based timing solutions in mobile IoT consumer markets.
- Develop compelling value propositions and messaging tailored to OEMs, ODMs, and ecosystem partners.
- Lead competitive analysis and market segmentation efforts to guide product and roadmap decisions.
- Drive business development for 32kHz resonator solutions, including customer engagement, market expansion, and design win acceleration.
- Identify and develop strategic partnerships with key mobile and IoT consumer companies.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering to align customer needs with technical capabilities.
- Build and manage strategic relationships with MEMS and XTAL vendors to enhance SiTime’s ecosystem positioning and supply chain resilience.
- Evaluate and negotiate partnership opportunities that support long-term growth and innovation.
- Serve as a global evangelist for SiTime and its products, promoting the advantages of MEMS timing solutions over legacy XTALs.
- Represent SiTime at industry forums, conferences, and customer events as a thought leader in timing technologies.
- Author white papers, blogs, and presentations to promote SiTime’s technology leadership and innovation.
- Work closely with sales, engineering, operations, and executive leadership to ensure alignment across business goals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence.
- ~20 years of experience in MEMS and XTALs across marketing, business development, and technology evangelism.
- Proven track record of driving growth in mobile or consumer IoT markets.
- Deep understanding of timing components and their role in system-level performance, especially 32kHz resonators.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or related field; MBA preferred.
