Job Overview
As a Bartender, you will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. You will also support beverage servers, maintain the bar setup, and handle cashier responsibilities while ensuring compliance with state and company standards.
Essential Job Functions
- Set up and stock the bar daily, including beer, wine, spirits, condiments, and garnishes.
- Prepare fresh fruit, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests, take and document drink orders, and prepare beverages using standard recipes with portion control.
- Follow all state, federal, and corporate regulations regarding the service of alcoholic beverages.
- Input orders into the POS system, create guest checks, and maintain accurate accountability for all beverages served.
- Handle cash and payments accurately, including making change and processing charges.
- Secure all beverages, food, equipment, and cash at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a professional appearance and courteous manner at all times.
- Assist team members as needed and contribute to a positive team environment.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- Self-motivated with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Strong guest service and communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of food, beverage preparation, and alcoholic beverages.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, portion sizes, and order accuracy.
- Manual dexterity to prepare garnishes, handle glassware, scoop ice, and mix drinks.
- Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods.
- Ability to remember and promote menu items.
- Proficiency with POS systems and order entry.
- Must have current TIPS Certification and Food Handler’s Card.
- Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
