About This Position
Local bay county Dealership has an immediate opening for a full-time accounting specialist! Panama City Automotive group, John Lee Nissan Mazda is looking for the newest member of their accounting team! This is a structured growth opportunity designed for someone looking to build a long-term career in automotive accounting. Job duties and requirements are as follows:
· Learn and perform foundational accounting tasks.
· Maintaining accounting schedules regularly.
· Assist with daily office operations and administrative support
· Account reconciliations
· Work closely with senior accounting staff to receive hands-on training and cross training
· Develop an understanding of dealership operations, compliance, and reporting
· Must be able to coordinate and effectively communicate information to Office Manager, Controller and other associates.
· Must be properly groomed, professional in presentation and in compliance with Dealership dress code.
· Hours of work are Monday through Friday. There may be additional hours & weekend work depending on activities in the Dealership.
· Must have experience in all Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Data entry experience required.
· Various tasks to assist the accounting office activities in support of the other Sales oriented departments of the dealership.
· Provide administrative support to management, other departments and employees as needed.
· Must be dependable and detail orientated. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Must be accustomed to working under strict deadlines.
· Excellent written, verbal and communication skills required.

Education:
· High school or equivalent (Required)
