In this role, you will transform complex healthcare and specialty care data into actionable insights that directly shape value-based care strategies and improve patient outcomes. You will work at the intersection of analytics, clinical operations, and business strategy, helping design programs that enhance affordability, quality, and care delivery performance. The position requires strong analytical rigor combined with the ability to translate data into clear recommendations for non-technical stakeholders. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including clinical, technical, and business leaders, in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment. Your work will directly support the optimization of value-based care models and the evaluation of key healthcare initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about using data to drive meaningful improvements in healthcare systems.

Accountabilities:

  • Design and influence value-based care and payment programs by translating complex healthcare data into actionable insights that improve quality and affordability outcomes.
  • Lead advanced and exploratory analytics to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities across healthcare and specialty care datasets.
  • Apply statistical rigor to evaluate pilots, initiatives, and care models, enabling confident, data-driven decision-making.
  • Build and maintain financial, forecasting, and performance reconciliation models supporting program design and evaluation.
  • Partner with clinical, technical, and business teams to embed analytics into operational tools and decision-making workflows.
  • Communicate insights, findings, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences to drive strategic action.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, value-based care analytics, or related research environments.
  • Strong hands-on experience with healthcare datasets including claims, clinical, pharmacy, and eligibility data.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and analytical tools such as SAS, R, or Python.
  • Solid understanding of statistical methods including regression, confidence intervals, power analysis, and model validation techniques.
  • Knowledge of value-based care models such as ACOs, bundled payments, or episode-based reimbursement.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear insights.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in statistics, data science, public health, health economics, or a related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in healthcare financial modeling or medical economics.
  • Preferred: Experience with data visualization and storytelling tools such as Tableau or Python visualization libraries.

  • Annual salary range of 107,700 to 179,500 USD depending on experience and location.
