  • Lead discrete technical tasks or workstreams within larger planning projects, coordinating with internal team members under the guidance of a project director.
  • Prepare technical documentation, memoranda, exhibits, and presentations that clearly communicate planning concepts and recommendations.
  • Apply FAA guidance, airport planning standards, and industry best practices to assigned tasks with growing independence.
  • Participate in client meetings, workshops, and presentations in a supporting role.
  • Collaborate across planning, engineering, environmental, architecture, and GIS disciplines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Support proposal development efforts through technical content development, resumes, and project descriptions.
  • Provide informal technical guidance and tasklevel support to junior staff, as appropriate, under supervision.

  • 7 or more years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated understanding of airport planning principles, FAA guidelines, and airport or airfield geometry.
  • Experience contributing to airport master plans, oncall planning efforts, or specialized aviation planning studies.
  • Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to support client engagement and prepare polished technical materials.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and GIS software.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Graphic layout skills, including Photoshop, Illustrator, AutoCAD, and or GIS, are valued.
