Who We're Looking For
We are actively seeking experienced, licensed, and insured 1099 subcontractors in the following trades:
- Window Installation
- Siding Installation
- Roofing Installation
- Gutter Installation
- Other Exterior Trades (HVAC, Painting, Concrete, and more)

What You'll Do
- Complete assigned scopes of work on residential exterior improvement projects across MN and WI
- Manage your crew, materials, and schedule to complete jobs on time and to AMRG quality standards
- Communicate proactively with AMRG project managers on job status, issues, and completions
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite at all times
- Submit invoices under your business name upon job completion

To qualify as a 1099 subcontractor with AMRG, you must meet Minnesota and Wisconsin independent contractor requirements. The following are required at time of onboarding:
Business & Tax
- Operate as a registered business entity (LLC, S-Corp, Sole Prop with EIN, etc.)
- Hold a valid Federal Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Able to provide a completed W-9
- Invoice and accept payment in your business name (no cash-only arrangements)
Licensing
- Hold a current, valid state contractor license for the trade(s) and state(s) you work in
- Minnesota: Residential Contractor or Specialty Contractor license (MN Dept. of Labor & Industry, Chapter 326B)
- Wisconsin: Dwelling Contractor Qualifier (DCQ) or applicable trade license (WI DSPS)
Insurance
- General Liability insurance — minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence
- Workers' Compensation insurance, or a valid sole-owner WC exemption on file
Operations
- Own or lease all tools, equipment, and vehicles necessary to perform your trade
- Ability to control the means and methods of your own work
- Willingness to operate under a written per-job subcontractor agreement
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience in your trade
- References from previous general contractors or customers
- Experience on residential exterior projects (windows, siding, roofing, gutters or other)
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
- Crew of 2 or more available for larger projects
