Lead, Ground Operations at Veho – Fort Collins, Colorado

About The Role:As a Ground Operations Lead at Veho, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics activities. You will be at the forefront of daily interactions with cross-functional teams, orchestrating efforts to maintain safety standards while achieving operational excellence. Your leadership will be crucial in guiding a shared shift to guarantee successful launches and sorts, in collaboration with both the Veho team and our valued driver partners.
Key Responsibilities:

• Quickly navigate technology platforms to manage operational changes, re-routes, and other logistical challenges with ease and efficiency.
• Assess operational needs swiftly and work cross-functionally to orchestrate seamless operations, prioritizing safety, and driving success.
• Operate a forklift and potentially a box truck with skill and precision, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods and materials as needed.
• Execute with a focus on customer service, providing high levels of support and assistance to our crowd-sourced driver partners and internal teams.
• Works well in a fast-paced environment that is, at times, physically tasking
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively lead a shift.
• Stand for extended periods, move boxes up and down, bend, and frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs, ensuring physical readiness for the demands of the role.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of previous experience in logistics, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps on a smartphone daily.
• Forklift certification and/or experience operating box trucks is preferred.
• Proficiency in technology platforms and tools relevant to logistics operations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
