Qualifications:
- PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an APA-accredited program
- Completion of a 1-year fellowship/residency in health psychology/behavioral medicine or 1 year of relevant clinical experience within the past 4 years
- Current, active, unrestricted U.S. psychologist license
- No additional certifications required beyond Basic Life Support
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations and diagnose using DSM criteria
- Provide individual and group therapy; support patients coping with medical conditions or injuries
- Assist with patient rehabilitation and interdisciplinary care
- Maintain productivity standards, accurate documentation, and use of clinical systems (e.g., MHS Genesis)
- Follow infection control, safety, and emergency protocols
- Participate in peer review, performance improvement, and staff training
- Support Family Advocacy Program requirements
- Attend required trainings and meetings; pursue continuing education
- Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk management standards
Monday through Friday, excluding the day of observance of federal holidays, for a 8.5 or 9 hour shift between the hours of 0700 to 1600. The HCW’s shift shall include an uncompensated 30-minute or 1 hour meal break.

8.5-hour shift (includes 30-minute unpaid meal break): 0700–1530 (30-minute lunch)
Total paid hours: 8.0
9-hour shift (includes 1-hour unpaid meal break): 0700–1600 (1-hour lunch)
