Status: Full-Time | 1.0 FTE | 40 Hrs/Wk

Hiring Range: $26.00-$32.19 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to support our revenue cycle operations and ensure accurate, timely billing for clinical services. What You’ll Do:

As a Medical Biller, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the organization while supporting a seamless patient experience. Key responsibilities include:

  • Accurately code and bill clinical services in compliance with regulatory and payer requirements
  • Review EOBs/ERAs to identify denials, discrepancies, and coding issues; coordinate timely resolution
  • Post payments, adjustments, and write-offs across multiple payer sources
  • Manage accounts receivable and support denial resolution, including appeals through final determination
  • Collaborate with clinical, intake, and finance teams to address billing questions and patient concerns
  • Serve as a liaison regarding eligibility, authorizations, and payer requirements
  • Support point-of-service collections and ensure proper application of adjustments
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of billing regulations, payer policies, and reimbursement changes
  • Perform routine account reconciliation and uphold internal controls

What You Bring:

  • Graduation from an accredited billing program or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of medical billing and accounts receivable experience
  • 5+ years of patient account investigation and resolution experience
  • Strong knowledge of insurance payers, including Provider One, Availity, and J-code billing
  • Experience with electronic claims submission platforms
  • Oncology billing experience (preferred)
  • Experience with Onco EMR or Unlimited Financials (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and electronic health records systems
