CrowdStrike, Inc.

Full time

R28387

As a global leader in cybersecurity, CrowdStrike protects the people, processes and technologies that drive modern organizations. Since 2011, our mission hasn’t changed — we’re here to stop breaches, and we’ve redefined modern security with the world’s most advanced AI-native platform. Our customers span all industries, and they count on CrowdStrike to keep their businesses running, their communities safe and their lives moving forward. We’re also a mission-driven company. We cultivate a culture that gives every CrowdStriker both the flexibility and autonomy to own their careers. We’re always looking to add talented CrowdStrikers to the team who have limitless passion, a relentless focus on innovation and a fanatical commitment to our customers, our community and each other. Ready to join a mission that matters? The future of cybersecurity starts with you.

About the Role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a Sr. Cloud Security Architect to serve as the primary technical authority for our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. Joining our Information Security Architecture and Engineering team, you will design and harden the cloud infrastructure that supports our internal operations.

This is a high-impact, individual contributor role where you will move beyond high-level policy to build secure-by-design patterns. You aren’t just reviewing architectures; you are defining the blueprints for how CrowdStrike scales securely in the cloud.

What You'll Do

  • Architect GCP Security: Serve as the SME for GCP security, designing robust solutions for IAM, Organization Policy Service, VPC Service Controls, and Shared VPC architectures.

  • Multi-Cloud Strategy: Provide architectural oversight for existing AWS and OCI environments, ensuring a consistent security posture across a heterogeneous cloud footprint.

  • Security Blueprints: Develop "Golden Path" architectures and reusable security patterns that enable engineering teams to move fast without bypassing guardrails.

  • CI/CD Integration: Partner with DevOps to integrate security into Jenkins-based pipelines, ensuring automated policy enforcement and vulnerability scanning.

  • Collaborative Leadership: Lead deep-dive architecture reviews for internal business units, translating complex security requirements into actionable engineering roadmaps.

  • Threat Modeling: Conduct technical threat models on complex cloud-native applications to identify and mitigate risks before they reach production.

What You'll need:

  • Expert-Level GCP: Deep, hands-on experience securing Google Cloud (Organization hierarchy, Workload Identity, Cloud Armor, and KMS).

  • Cloud Fluency: Strong working knowledge of AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to support our multi-cloud environment.

  • Legacy & Modern Tooling: Experience navigating and securing Jenkins CI/CD environments and legacy automation workflows.

  • Security Infrastructure: Practical experience with CSPM tools and API security gateways.

  • The Architect’s Mindset: Ability to balance "perfect security" with "business velocity," providing solutions that are scalable and maintainable.

Bonus Points:

  • Automation Skills: Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash and experience with Terraform/Infracost.

  • Certifications: Professional Google Cloud Security Engineer or AWS Certified Security Specialty.

  • Community Presence: History of contributing to open-source security projects or speaking at industry conferences (CloudSecNext, fwd:cloudsec, etc.).
