Real Estate Licensing & Compliance Manager

Position Overview:

SRS Real Estate Partners is seeking a Brokerage Licensing & Compliance Manager to support our brokers and transaction teams by ensuring licensing, compliance, and regulatory requirements are managed efficiently across multiple states.

This role is critical to keeping our brokers focused on revenue-generating activities by minimizing disruption, maintaining licensing continuity, and ensuring smooth execution of brokerage operations. The ideal candidate brings a strong operational mindset, a service-oriented approach, and experience managing multi-state licensing in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Brokerage Support & Operational Execution

· Partner closely with brokers, deal teams, and operations to support day-to-day brokerage activity

· Ensure licensing and compliance requirements do not disrupt transaction timelines or deal flow

· Act as a responsive, solutions-oriented resource for licensing and regulatory questions

· Support onboarding of new brokers and offices, ensuring licensing readiness from day one

Licensing Management

· Manage all aspects of brokerage licensing across multiple states, including applications, renewals, transfers, and terminations

· Maintain accurate licensing records and tracking systems

· Proactively monitor deadlines and requirements to ensure uninterrupted operations

· Coordinate with state agencies and internal stakeholders to resolve licensing issues quickly

Compliance & Risk Management

· Ensure brokerage activities align with applicable state regulatory requirements

· Review marketing materials and brokerage documentation for compliance where applicable

· Identify and mitigate risk while balancing business needs and operational efficiency

· Maintain documentation and processes to support audits or regulatory inquiries

Process Improvement & Systems

· Build and refine scalable processes for licensing and compliance tracking

· Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve efficiency across offices

· Partner with corporate operations, accounting, and legal to enhance systems and reporting

Cross-Functional Collaboration

· Serve as the liaison between brokers, corporate operations, accounting, and legal teams

· Communicate clearly and proactively with stakeholders across multiple offices

Support consistency of operations while adapting to local market needs

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Education

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, Finance, Legal Studies, or a related field preferred

Real Estate Experience

· 5+ years of experience in real estate brokerage operations, licensing, or compliance

· Familiarity with real estate transaction lifecycle and documentation, including listing agreements, engagement agreements, agency disclosures, and offering memorandums

· Experience reviewing brokerage marketing and advertising materials for regulatory compliance

· Direct experience in commercial real estate brokerage operations preferred

Technical & Regulatory Knowledge

· Strong knowledge of real estate licensing regulations, including Broker of Record requirements

· Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them within a real estate brokerage environment

· Experience managing multi-state licensing systems

Operational & Execution Skills

· Service-oriented mindset with a focus on enabling brokerage productivity

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through

· Strong operational mindset with proven ability to execute with urgency in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment

· Ability to communicate with brokers, legal teams, marketing, and operations in a fast-paced environment
