Position Overview

We are seeking a Staff Accountant to support the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial reporting across the organization.

This role is responsible for general ledger accounting, account reconciliations, and supporting the monthly and annual close processes in accordance with GAAP and internal controls. The Staff Accountant will partner with cross-functional teams to investigate variances, support audits, and contribute to financial planning activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries across multiple locations
• Perform and maintain accurate monthly account reconciliations for assigned accounts
• Investigate and resolve financial variances in collaboration with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other finance team members
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting
• Assist with annual audit preparation and provide supporting documentation as needed
• Contribute to budgeting and annual planning processes
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support business decisions
• Partner with leadership to promote financial accountability across the organization
• Support the Senior Accountant, Senior Operations Accountant, and Director of Accounting on special projects and process improvements

• Accurate and timely completion of monthly and year-end close processes
• Clean, well-documented account reconciliations with minimal audit findings
• Timely identification and resolution of financial discrepancies
• Strong collaboration across Finance, A/P, and A/R functions
• Improved financial processes and internal controls
• Reliable financial data that supports business decision-making

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or public accounting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
• High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and process improvement
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies
