Job Description

Senior Executive Assistant – Solid Biosciences

Solid Biosciences is a precision genetic medicine company focused on advancing a portfolio of gene therapy candidates targeting rare neuromuscular and cardiac diseases, including Duchenne muscular dystrophy (Duchenne), Friedreich’s ataxia (FA), catecholaminergic polymorphic ventricular tachycardia (CPVT), TNNT2-mediated dilated cardiomyopathy, BAG3-mediated dilated cardiomyopathy, and additional fatal, genetic cardiac diseases. We are seeking a Senior Executive Assistant to provide high-level strategic and operational support to multiple members of the Executive Leadership Team and their direct reports. This role serves as a trusted partner, driving efficiency, alignment, and execution across key business priorities. Reporting to the Senior Executive Assistant, Team Lead, this position also supports coordination and consistency across the Executive Assistant team. This is a fully onsite role based at Solid’s Corporate Headquarters in Hood Park, Charlestown, MA.

Key Position Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic calendar management for senior executives and their direct reports, ensuring alignment with evolving business priorities
  • Anticipate executive needs, proactively resolve conflicts, and remove obstacles to maximize efficiency and focus
  • Manage complex scheduling, domestic and international travel, and expense reporting with a high degree of accuracy and discretion
  • Lead the planning and execution of Scientific Advisory Board meetings and other high-impact internal and external events
  • Coordinate across functions to align executive priorities, drive follow-through, and maintain momentum on key initiatives
  • Facilitate clear, timely communication between executive leadership and internal and external stakeholders
  • Apply sound judgment in managing shifting priorities, sensitive matters, and competing demands on executive time
  • Support meeting preparation by developing agendas, compiling materials, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information and communications
  • Contribute to consistent, high-quality support across the Executive Assistant team through collaboration, coordination, and shared best practices

Key Competencies & Experience Requirements

  • 10–15+ years of progressive executive support experience, including direct support of C-suite leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities with exceptional organization, sound judgment, and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business productivity tools
  • Executive presence and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven discretion and professionalism in handling confidential and highly sensitive information
  • Highly proactive, resourceful, and resilient, with the ability to anticipate needs and solve problems effectively
  • Ability to remain composed, adaptable, and effective in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong partnership and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and levels of the organization

Compensation

The base compensation range for this role is: $127,660.00 - $155,000.00

Base salary offered is determined through an internal analysis utilizing a combination of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills & experience, job location, and internal equity.

Regular employees are eligible to receive both short-term and long-term incentives, including cash bonus and equity incentive opportunities, designed to reward individual performance and align incentives to Solid’s long term company performance.
