This role is a key operational support position within a global education technology environment focused on delivering secure, accessible, and high-quality online assessment services. The Senior Shared Services Associate ensures smooth execution of administrative, client, and candidate support processes across exam delivery and operational workflows. You will handle complex inquiries, resolve escalated issues, and maintain service excellence across multiple internal and external stakeholders. The role requires strong coordination across departments such as finance, IT, client services, and account management. In addition to day-to-day operational responsibilities, you will contribute to reporting, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives. Acting as a senior team member, you will also mentor junior associates and support onboarding efforts, helping strengthen overall team performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert and primary escalation point for complex or high-priority inquiries from internal teams, clients, and candidates.
- Monitor, manage, and resolve support tickets through Zendesk, ensuring timely and accurate resolution of escalated issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, IT, Client Services, and Account Management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Generate and analyze operational reports to monitor performance, identify gaps, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Support onboarding, training, and mentoring of new Shared Services Associates to ensure team readiness and consistency.
- Contribute to the improvement and documentation of internal processes, workflows, and operational standards.
- Ensure high-quality administrative support across exam administration, billing, and service operations.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in shared services, operations, administrative support, or similar roles.
- Prior experience in a senior, lead, or mentoring capacity is an advantage.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
