This role sits at the intersection of data, cloud analytics, and public sector transformation, where you will help organizations unlock the full value of their data through advanced visualization and AI-driven insights. You will operate as a strategic sales specialist, partnering with enterprise account teams to shape impactful data transformation journeys across government, healthcare, education, and utilities. In this high-visibility position, you will engage senior decision-makers and position analytics as a cornerstone of modern digital governance. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly cross-functional, requiring strong storytelling and technical fluency. You will play a key role in expanding data-driven decision-making across Switzerland and neighboring markets. You will act as the Tableau subject matter expert within a broader sales ecosystem, driving strategic opportunities and supporting enterprise growth in the public sector. Your mission will be to position analytics solutions as essential tools for modernization and AI readiness.
- Partner with account executives to identify, develop, and close high-value Tableau opportunities across public sector organizations.
- Lead complex product demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and executive-level presentations tailored to strategic stakeholders.
- Translate public sector challenges into actionable analytics and visualization use cases that demonstrate clear business and societal value.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior decision-makers including CIOs, CDOs, and digital transformation leaders.
- Collaborate across internal teams (solutions engineering, customer success, and consulting partners) to ensure seamless execution and customer outcomes.
- Support pipeline management and forecasting activities using structured CRM methodologies and disciplined opportunity tracking.
You bring strong experience in enterprise software or analytics-focused sales environments, ideally within data, BI, or cloud platforms. You are comfortable operating in complex, matrixed organizations and engaging with senior stakeholders in regulated sectors.
- Proven experience in a specialist or overlay sales role within SaaS, analytics, data platforms, or enterprise technology.
- Strong understanding of public sector environments, ideally including procurement frameworks and institutional structures in Switzerland or similar markets.
- Ability to translate technical capabilities into clear business value through strong storytelling and executive communication.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex sales cycles and collaborative deal environments.
- Fluency in German and English is required; French is a strong advantage for Swiss federal accounts.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to manage pipelines, forecasts, and structured sales processes effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a collaborative and solution-oriented approach.
