We are looking for a friendly face to join our team as a Server to help support our Food and Beverage Team!
Quail West is a leading private golf and country club that prides itself on providing world-class facilities for Members and their guests and an extraordinary and inclusive, yet unpretentious lifestyle. One of Southwest Florida’s most welcoming clubs, Quail West’s courses, facilities and services are shared by a limited number of members to enhance the quality of the member experience.
The Server plays a vital support role within the front-of-house team, ensuring that servers are assisted at every step of service and guests receive seamless, attentive hospitality. This individual is expected to operate with a proactive mindset. Always maintaining water service, clearing and resetting tables quickly, and ensuring prompt bread delivery. The Server Assistant also supports food running, ensuring accurate and timely delivery to the correct seat and table. Success in this role depends on awareness, urgency, and a genuine desire to enhance the member experience.
- Pay rate: $10.00/hour + gratuities.
- This is a Part-Time position.

Summary:
The Server delivers exceptional dining experiences with professionalism, efficiency, and genuine hospitality. This role requires attention to detail, strong knowledge of the menu, and a commitment to personalized service. Welcoming members by name, anticipating needs, and ensuring every interaction reflects the high standards of Quail West.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pre-Service
- Complete all assigned opening side work and set up designated stations.
- Prepare linens, polish service ware, restock supplies, and ensure readiness.
- Attend pre-shift meetings to review menus, specials, and service expectations.
- Maintain professional appearance and readiness at the start of every shift.
A La Carte Dining Service
- Greet members and guests warmly, using names when possible.
- Present menus, offer water promptly, and describe specials and features.
- Take and enter accurate food and beverage orders, including modifications.
- Deliver each course following formal service etiquette and club standards.
- Provide wine service and prepare basic cocktails when needed.
- Monitor tables throughout service, replenish as necessary, and ensure satisfaction.
- Offer dessert, coffee, and after-dinner beverages.
- Accurately charge member accounts and follow tip declaration policies.
Banquet and Event Support
- Assist in setup of events, including tables, buffet layouts, and service stations.
- Provide attentive service for plated meals, receptions, and buffets.
- Serve hors d’oeuvres, wine, and specialty drinks with professionalism.
- Execute service according to Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and input charges appropriately.
- Support post-event breakdown, including linen removal and resetting rooms.
Closing and Maintenance
- Complete end-of-shift duties: cleaning stations, organize supplies, restock, and secure areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout all guest-facing areas.
Communicate guest feedback and concerns leadership for follow-up.
Requirements:Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience in upscale dining; private club or resort experience preferred.
- Strong upselling skills and knowledge of wine and food pairing.
- Excellent hospitality instincts and guest interaction capabilities.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking required.
- Moderate noise levels are typical of restaurant and event environments.
