Job summary

Our Edmonton office is currently looking for a Corporate Administrative Clerk to join our team. This is a full-time position that assists with various administrative tasks. The candidate must be able to multi-task, prioritize a heavy workload, pay particular attention to detail, and have excellent organizational, communication, and written skills. The candidate must also be able to take instructions clearly and run tasks from start to finish independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities include:

Opening and closing corporate filesForwarding mail to clientsFiling corporate documents in virtual minute books in the corporate databaseFiling corporate documents in physical minute booksScanning complete physical minute booksScanning complete files into the firm’s document management systemAssisting with following up on outstanding accounts and reminder statementsOrdering corporate seals for transactionsAssisting the corporate team with other corporate tasks as required Other miscellaneous tasks as required

Qualifications include:

Graduate of a recognized administrative assistant program (equivalencies will be considered)Minimum of 1 year of experience as an administrative assistantThe ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion Excellent written and oral communication skillsExcellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environmentStrong attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of the team, demonstrating a positive work ethicKnowledge of appropriate software including: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint and Adobe AcrobatKnowledge of ALF and iManage, considered an asset
