About This Position
Compensation: [$18 to $25 an hour] + commission + bonus | Target earnings: [$70k to $100k annually]
URGE FITNESS is hiring a full-time sales closer to drive personal training revenue inside the club. This role is for someone who can build rapport quickly, handle objections, ask for the sale, and convert consultations into paying clients.
Your primary job is simple: sell personal training packages. You will also support membership sales when needed, but this is not a front desk role and it is not a passive customer service position.
We are looking for someone who can start producing quickly. You should be comfortable selling within your first week after onboarding once you understand our process, pricing, and offer structure.
What you will do:
Sell 1-on-1 personal training packages through consultations, assessments, follow-up, floor interactions, and lead outreach
Convert new leads, current members, and inactive prospects into paying training clients
Handle objections confidently and ask for the sale
Follow up consistently by phone, text, and email
Support membership sales when needed through tours, presentations, and closes
Keep CRM, scheduling, and sales activity updated accurately
Work with trainers to support retention, upgrades, and additional revenue opportunities
What success looks like:
You are comfortable running consultations and closing training packages quickly after onboarding
You maintain strong appointment activity, follow-up discipline, and close rates
You take ownership of your numbers and do not need to be chased for activity
You compete, follow process, and produce
What we are looking for:
Proven success in commission-based sales
Strong objection handling and closing ability
Comfortable with high-volume outreach and in-person selling
Able to speak clearly, confidently, and professionally
Organized and reliable with follow-up
Fitness sales experience preferred, but proven closers from other industries are welcome
Full-time availability with evenings and weekends required
This role is not for you if:
You are uncomfortable asking for the sale
You need heavy hand-holding to stay on follow-up
You do not perform well in a metrics-driven environment
