Housekeeper at Residence Inn by Marriott Phoenix Chandler/South – Chandler, Arizona

JOB SUMMARY:

A Housekeeper is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel, servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. In some instances, this role would also be responsible for conducting ‘deep cleaning’ activities within the guest room in conjunction with preventative maintenance tasks.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Thoroughly clean and restock guest rooms to meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort.
• Complete daily tasks efficiently, including making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, dusting, and restocking amenities.
• Maintain your housekeeping cart with the necessary supplies, ensuring it is clean and organized.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards in guest rooms or public areas.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as needed, including furniture moving, carpet cleaning, and more.
• Provide a welcoming and hospitable environment for guests, addressing any requests promptly.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
