Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments to diagnose mental health conditions

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and healthcare teams

- Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate, monitoring for efficacy and side effects

- Provide psychotherapy and counseling to patients with various mental health disorders

- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions and treatment options

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress

- Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

- Stay current with advancements in psychiatric practices and maintain licensure and certifications

Skills and Qualifications:

- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with specialization as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

- Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license and certification in psychiatric mental health

- Proven experience in mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment

- Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and therapeutic modalities

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and empathetic skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
