Food & Nutrition Services Manager at Central Peninsula Hospital – Soldotna, Alaska

POSITION SUMMARY: The Food & Nutrition Services Manager participates in the organizing and planning activities of the Food & Nutrition Services Department, coordinating the work of the staff in their assigned areas to ensure quality food service. This may include working with leadership, updating policies and procedures in accordance with hospital policies, standard practices of the profession, and related state and federal laws; regularly conferring with and coordinating with other departments; initiating plans to motivate staff and achieve work goals; timely and accurate reporting; and promoting professional growth among staff by identifying and meeting staff training and education needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 3 years of Supervisory experience
• 2 years of Food Services experience in a Healthcare setting
• Certified Dietary Manager, Certified Food Protection Professional (CDM, CFPP)
