Group Leader Position Summary

Under the guidance and direction of an Environmental Services supervisor, trains, schedules and leads work groups in many diverse cleaning functions of category type cleaning (patient care unit cleaning, general area cleaning, administrative office cleaning, clinical/non-clinical area cleaning and general area cleaning). General area cleaning does not include floor maintenance and carpet care program.

Group Leader Position Requirements

Education

• 10th grade or equivalent preferred

Experience

• No previous experience required

Group Leader Work Schedule

• Days, Evenings, or Nights Shifts. Will require working during the weekends and holidays.
• Expected to respond in the event of a disaster.
• Demonstrates personal responsibility for maintaining a satisfactory attendance record.
