Essential Functions:

• Load furniture orders onto truck and deliver products to customer.
• Unload, un-carton, and distribute product accordingly.

• Complete furniture assembly/installation as per installation specifications – Training provided.
• Inspect furniture for proper operability according to manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Ability to work by themselves and with a team of people.
• Will complete repetitive tasks after shown.
• Can put together an array of chairs from different vendors.
• Strengthen customer relationships by providing excellent customer service.
• Will start to make small deliveries by themselves. Items to include are a chair and chair mats.
• Learn how to document Install/delivery in MOSS
• Look and act professionally on customers’ location. Uniform provided.

Level 2 Expectations:

• Go over the days install(s) with furniture supervisor to understand scope of job(s).
• If you have multiple jobs in a day, you must follow the schedule according to the scheduler as customers are expecting you at certain times.
• Is the person that will communicate with customers.
• Can supervise a crew of up to 4 people on a jobsite.
• Is capable of reading blueprints like panel sizes, workstation configurations, etc.
• Can provide directions to crew and will answer questions as they arise.
• Is responsible for making sure all furniture, tools, and equipment are to arrive at job accordingly.
• Have the communication skill to call designed, FAC, or PM is job has issues or customer wants to make changes that were not discussed before arrival.
• Will need to understand how to document Punch with CORE system.
• Will interface with other trades on-site when working in that kind of environment.
• Has the ability to install panels, components, and case goods.
• Will understand how the power works within each panel system. Will be able to correct any issues if power is not working within system components.
• Can look at blueprints to install wall track both vertical and horizontal.
• When returning to the office you are expected to clean out the truck each evening of all trash, cardboard, extra parts, or any damaged items.
• When permitted you will load your truck for the next day with correct jobs on the truck.

Level 3 Expectations:

• Can run large teams and subs at the same time.
• Will attend pre-install meetings on jobs that exceed $50,000 to understand scope of job with PM.
• Will understand every detail on a blueprint that includes file bars, electrical, and dimensions.
• Will need to understand layout of large areas and make sure panels are in right location that match dimensions laid out by designer.
• Strategically solves issues that were not expected. This could include cutting work surfaces when needed.
• Can close out jobs on MOSS with customer(s).

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enjoys assembly work and has the ability to use basic hand/power tools. This includes using a tape measure properly.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must pass a DOT physical and keep it current.
• Must be able to lift 70 -100 pounds on a regular basis.
