About This Position
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team. The Service Technician will be responsible for providing top-notch service to customers by installing, maintaining, and repairing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in field service, mechanical knowledge, and computer networking. This role is perfect for a motivated individual who is comfortable with hands-on work and is willing to learn and grow with our company.
Duties
- Perform field service calls to diagnose and repair equipment and systems, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer issues.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using a voltmeter and other diagnostic tools.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and technical training to remain proficient in the field.
- Provide exceptional customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with other team members to resolve issues and improve processes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in the field of service technician or a related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical knowledge and computer networking principles.
- Proficiency with computer hardware and low voltage systems.
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and tools.
- Familiarity with hand tools and the ability to use them effectively.
- Service technician certification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
