Senior Manager, Global Logistics

Join PROCEPT BioRobotics and take ownership of global logistics operations that directly support our growth and customer success. In this role, you will lead end-to-end logistics strategy and execution, optimizing distribution networks, transportation, and delivery performance across a global footprint. You will drive operational excellence through KPI ownership, cost optimization, and continuous improvement, while advancing digital capabilities and system efficiencies. Partnering cross-functionally with Commercial, Planning, Finance, and Global Trade Compliance, you will ensure seamless, compliant, and on-time delivery to customers worldwide. What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:

Global Logistics Strategy & Execution

  • Lead global end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound/outbound distribution, supplier integration, and customer delivery performance
  • Direct global production and distribution logistics through internal operations and third-party logistics (3PL) partners
  • Develop and optimize global logistics network design, including distribution footprint, transportation lanes, and inventory positioning to improve cost, service, and scalability
  • Optimize carrier strategy, routing, and freight spend to balance cost, service levels, and operational resilience
  • Own global on-time delivery performance and fulfillment execution aligned with commercial objectives
  • Drive end-to-end logistics performance to improve customer experience, including delivery reliability, lead times, and post-delivery visibility
  • Establish and govern strategic partnerships with logistics providers, carriers, freight forwarders, including performance management, contract negotiations, and service-level agreements (SLAs)

Trade Compliance, Risk & Cross-Border Operations

  • Maintain strong working knowledge of international trade regulations, including U.S. export controls and Automated Export System (AES) filings
  • Partner closely with Global Trade Compliance (GTC) to support export/import approvals, product classifications, and shipment releases
  • Ensure adherence to U.S. Census Bureau Electronic Export Information (EEI) requirements and global regulatory standards
  • Oversee international shipping operations, proactively resolving disruptions and ensuring continuity of supply
  • Establish logistics risk management frameworks and business continuity plans to mitigate supply disruptions, capacity constraints, and geopolitical risks

Operational Excellence & Digital Transformation

  • Own global KPI framework, including OTIF, logistics cost, inventory accuracy, and compliance metrics
  • Develop and implement data-driven dashboards to drive accountability and continuous improvement
  • Lead logistics systems strategy and digital transformation initiatives, including TMS/WMS optimization, automation, and data integration to improve visibility and operational efficiency
  • Lead inventory and materials management, including cycle counting, discrepancy resolution, and system accuracy across global sites
  • Define and implement global packaging standards to ensure product protection, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization

Financial & Cost Management

  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance for global logistics operations
  • Drive cost efficiency initiatives across freight, packaging, and distribution networks
  • Align operational spend with financial targets and business objectives

Compliance, Safety & Standards

  • Oversee dangerous goods (DG)/HazMat programs in compliance with IATA, IMDG, and DOT regulations, including training, documentation, and operational controls
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, Quality Management Systems (QMS), and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with Customer Service and Order Management to ensure accurate order processing, order prepositioning, shipment routing, delivery confirmation, proactive issue resolution, and on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery performance
  • Partner with Planning and S&OP teams to align logistics capacity, inventory positioning, and demand forecasts with business requirements
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, and Planning teams to support revenue recognition and supply continuity
  • Build and lead high-performing global teams, including workforce planning, talent development, and leadership capability building
The Qualifications We Need You to Possess
  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, International Trade, Business, or related field experience.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience in global logistics, supply chain, or international operations.
  • Proven ownership of KPIs, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization in a multi-region environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving cost reduction and operational efficiency across global logistics networks.
  • Experience in international shipping and dangerous goods (DG)/HazMat regulations.
  • Strong background in inventory management systems, controls, and optimization methodologies.
  • Experience developing and implementing global packaging strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., QAD or equivalent) and Microsoft Office (advanced Excel preferred).
  • Experience driving system-level enhancements and process improvements to reduce manual work and increase efficiency.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration skills, particularly with Customer Service, Global Trade Compliance (GTC), Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to operate strategically while ensuring strong operational execution in a fast-paced, global environment.
The Qualifications We Would Like You to Possess
  • Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS (CSCP/CLTD), PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or DG/HazMat certification.
  • Experience leading large-scale transformation initiatives, including ERP implementations, network redesigns, or logistics digitalization efforts.
  • Experience with advanced analytics, data visualization tools, or automation technologies applied to supply chain operations.
  • Strong change management experience in complex, global, matrixed organizations.
  • Experience managing external partners, including 3PLs, carriers, and global service providers at a strategic level.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.
  • Experience working in a hybrid or globally distributed team environment.

For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $168,789- $198580 per year.

Plus, eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role represents a base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Well provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance.
