The position of resident entails provision of care commensurate with Resident’s level of advancement and competence, under the general supervision of attending Faculty and Medical Staff members. Residents are expected to perform all duties assigned to the best of his/her skill and ability under the general direction of the GMEC and the specific direction of the faculty and program director. The actions and attitudes of residents reflect the philosophy of both the hospital and the department mission statements.
