Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Architect in United States.
This role sits at the intersection of business strategy and enterprise platform design, focusing on translating complex client needs into scalable, outcome-driven solutions. The Business Architect acts as a trusted advisor, guiding stakeholders through discovery, design, and solution framing without writing code. Operating in a consulting environment, the role requires strong executive presence and the ability to lead high-impact workshops and strategic discussions. You will work across Salesforce and quote-to-cash ecosystems, connecting platform capabilities to measurable business value. This is a client-facing position where clarity of thought, structured problem solving, and influence are essential. You will collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure seamless execution while owning the “what” and “why” of the solution.
- Lead functional discovery sessions and workshops to uncover business needs, challenge assumptions, and define clear solution direction
- Own end-to-end functional solution design, translating requirements into scalable platform configurations aligned with best practices
- Produce high-quality solution design documents, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications to guide technical delivery
- Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, ensuring alignment on business outcomes and value-driven decisions
- Guide solution design across Salesforce and related quote-to-cash platforms, connecting capabilities to business objectives
- Partner with technical leads to ensure clean handoffs between functional design (“what and why”) and technical implementation (“how”)
- Support pre-sales activities including scoping, effort estimation, and solution framing for new engagements
- Contribute to internal accelerators, playbooks, templates, and delivery methodology improvements
- 5+ years of consulting experience in professional services or system integrator environments focused on complex business process transformation
- Strong experience with Salesforce or comparable quote-to-cash platforms such as CPQ, billing, or subscription management solutions
- Proven ability to facilitate discovery workshops and extract true business requirements beyond stated needs
- Experience creating functional artifacts including user stories, process flows, solution design documents, and acceptance criteria
- Strong executive communication skills with confidence engaging VP and C-level stakeholders
- Deep consulting mindset focused on outcomes, advisory leadership, and value realization rather than task execution
- Ability to translate business strategy into platform solutions across Sales, Service, and Revenue-focused systems
- Exposure to SaaS, subscription, or recurring revenue business models is highly valuable
- Competitive compensation aligned with experience
- Flexible remote work environment (United States-based)
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage
- Employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan
- Flexible time off supporting work-life balance
- Monthly home office stipend
- Paid training and continuous learning opportunities
- Adoption assistance and additional family support programs.
