Job Description
We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Driver to handle daily local pickups and deliveries using a company box truck. This role is primarily focused on driving, route execution, and customer interaction, with additional warehouse support responsibilities when not on the road. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being out on deliveries, takes pride in reliability and customer service, and can assist with warehouse operations as needed.
Key ResponsibilitiesDriving & Route Execution (Primary Focus)- Operate a company box truck to complete scheduled local deliveries and pickups
- Transport parts, equipment, and repaired items between customer locations, vendors, and internal departments
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately, safely, and on time
- Load and unload materials while verifying order accuracy
- Maintain delivery logs including mileage, stops, and required documentation
- Plan and follow efficient routes in coordination with internal teams
- Serve as a professional point of contact during deliveries and pickups
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding timing, deliveries, and any issues
- Represent the company in a positive and customer-focused manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate basic maintenance (oil changes, tires, etc.)
- Follow all company safety policies and applicable driving regulations
- Maintain compliance with DOT-related guidelines as required
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse tasks during non-driving time
- Support coordination between warehouse and delivery schedules
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Previous delivery driving experience preferred (box truck or similar vehicle)
- Strong time management and reliability
- Ability to lift and handle materials as part of daily responsibilities
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Basic computer skills (email, order tracking, etc.)
