Description:

Oak Grove Technologies, LLC, a dynamic and fast-growing federal contractor, is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Dive Master specializing in Water Survival Training at Fairchild Air Force Base. This vital role involves leading water safety programs, conducting training exercises, and ensuring the safety and preparedness of personnel in aquatic environments. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for instruction of Water Survival academics, laboratories, and operations and the ability to provide technical support on operating assigned diving equipment and perform maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • DOD certified Diver First Class
  • Qualified and operated as a Naval Enlisted Classification (NEC) M1DV Diver First Class (Legacy NEC Code 5342) or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as an Operational Diver First Class.
  • Current lifeguard and physically capable of swimming in turbulent water in an environmental tank.
  • Three (3) years’ experience of US Navy recompression chamber operations
  • Thorough familiarity with recognition and treatment of diving emergencies
  • Three (3) years’ experience in certification and maintenance of high-pressure air systems and US Navy approved under water breathing equipment and support systems.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in implementation and employment of the US Navy Dive/Jump Reporting System, U.S. Navy Planned Maintenance System, and the 3M system as it applies to diving for near, mid, and long-term equipment requirements.
  • Three (3) years’ experience in reading blueprints and schematic drawings, understand specifications, and interpret illustrated parts breakdowns and other publications used in the field of Dive Locker/Maritime equipment and dive related specialization.
  • Knowledgeable of USAF and MAJCOM regulatory guidelines and instructions
  • Must be able to lift up to (50) pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Experience:

  • US Navy recompression chamber operations: 3 years (Preferred)
  • recognition and treatment of diving emergencies: 3 years (Preferred)
  • under water breathing equipment and support systems.: 3 years (Preferred)
  • US Navy Dive/Jump Reporting System: 3 years (Preferred)
  • reading blueprints and schematic drawings: 3 years (Preferred)

  • Operational Diver First Class: 3 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • DOD certified Diver First Class (Required)

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Position requires an active SECERT clearance.
