Job Summary

Responsible for packing and preparing orders for shipment, maintaining accurate shipping records, and performing minor building maintenance tasks to support overall operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • • Package finished orders following final quality control inspection, ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • • Determine the most cost-effective shipping methods (e.g., palletizing vs. individual packaging).
  • • Prepare and manage shipping documentation, including packing lists, bills of lading, and related records.
  • • Coordinate outbound freight to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • • Maintain shipping logs and organized records of all shipments.
  • • Utilize computer systems (e.g., SAP) to update inventory and process shipments using UPS and FedEx software.
  • • Contact carriers to obtain freight quotes and schedule shipments.
  • • Provide support and backup for receiving operations as needed.
  • • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment; restock supplies as necessary.
  • • Perform minor building maintenance tasks, including groundskeeping and basic repairs.
  • • Carry out additional duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Education & Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations preferred.

Skills & Abilities

  • Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems preferred.
  • Ability to operate a manual forklift.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions with minimal supervision.
  • Effective multitasking and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports directly to the Director of Operations
