$33.04 - $49.57 an hour — Full-time - Days — 32 hours a week
Monday–Friday (Various Days) - 8 hour days
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Employee Health department where they will be responsible for providing clinical oversight of the Employee Health program, including maintenance of Employee Health requirements for employees, medical staff and volunteers. Provides clinical case management for blood-borne exposures and Worker’s Compensation. Provides clinical and administrative support for Employee Health

Qualifications
•Current Colorado RN license in good standing.
•BLS required by the end of the conditional period
•One to two years of experience in a clinic or hospital preferred
Responsibilities
•Takes employee health histories and thoroughly documents in employee health record.
•Performs veni-punctures and pre-employment drug screening.
•Administers vaccinations and TB testing.
•Assists with employee education and instruction related to new employee evaluation, vaccination, TB screening, and Blood Borne Exposure follow-up.
•Counsels employees following positive TB skin test results and arranges for the appropriate follow-up.
•Maintains the internal Employee Health procedure manual making edits and updates as necessary.
•Coordinates and educates groups of employees in formal and informal settings regarding Employee Health and Infection Prevention information.
•Monitors compliance with all Employee Health requirements and communicates regularly with employees, physicians, volunteers, their managers and their directors. Notifies director about employees out of compliance who will be suspended.
•Audits Employee Health files on an ongoing basis and re-educates Employee Health staff to proper procedure and/or documentation as needed.
•Coordinates and/or performs the education of individual staff members as to how to perform Employee Health testing for their specific unit or care area.
•Coordinates “walk-in” clinics for the annual mask fits and TB skin testing and flu vaccination program.
•Updates Employee Forms and other paperwork so that they are current and comprehensive.
•Collaborates with the Infection Prevention Manager and Quality Director in coordinating communication and/or prophylactic follow-up for any infectious disease outbreaks.
•Provides clinical oversight and guidance to FMLA, ADA and Employee Illness Screenings. Collaborates closely with the EH Assistant, Leave Specialist, Worker’s Comp Specialist, HR Business Partners, managers and directors.
