Physical Therapy Front Office Associate at Joint Implant Surgeons of Florida – Ft. Myers, Florida

Joint Implant Surgeons of FL is a multi-specialty medical practice and is currently seeking a FULL TIME Physical Therapy Front Office Associate in our Fort Myers location. This is a very important role and is responsible for daily patient flow and billing our therapy cases.

Some daily responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Greet & check-in/check-out therapy patients
• Assist patients with necessary paperwork (via iPad)
• Enter and/or verify patient demographics in our EMR system, updating if necessary
• Print & prepare patient charts
• Schedule patient appointments
• Obtain insurance verifications
• Review services received by patients, ensuring all services rendered are on encounter form
• Answer incoming calls
• Collect therapy co pays and post charges as needed

Pay to commensurate with experience

If you are a person who:

• Has fantastic customer service skills (Medical Office or Therapy experience preferred)
• Is able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment
• Has strong verbal & written communications kills
• Has a basic knowledge of office equipment and a computer
• Has a basic knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, and CPT Codes (preferred but not required)
• Has a familiarity of commercial insurances, private carriers, HMO's and Medicare (preferred but not required)
