TPH St. Louis Academic Success Coach (FT Academic Year Position) at Innovative V, LLC, dba TPH – Maryland Heights, Missouri

At TPH, our purpose is to lead the world in the holistic development of student-athletes, advancing – in and beyond the game – the next generation of impact players. We are an academy-style athletics program that enables the opportunity to develop athletics, academics, and character while helping student-athletes achieve their long term athletic goals.

We are in search of full-time team members who can play an important role in helping our student-athletes reach their maximum potential at our TPH Hockey Academy location in Maryland Heights and our TPH Soccer Academy location in Fenton, Missouri. The Academic Success Coaches will be responsible for assisting students with our blended learning platform, supervising a classroom of students, and monitoring academic progress of student-athletes. They will coach student-athletes directly in academic areas, and mentor them in the process of becoming more confident, self-directed learners, while meeting their academic goals. The Academic Success Coaches provide instruction and support in study strategies, time management, and other skills necessary for student success. They also assist with academy-wide projects and initiatives in collaboration with the Head of Academics and other TPH staff. These academic year only positions begin a week before the academic year starts in August and end a week after the last day of the academic year but are paid over 12 months.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience providing instruction and/or academic coaching.
• Ability to communicate effectively and teach/coach others.
• Knowledge of coaching, instructional, and mentoring techniques.
• Computer skills including Google Suite and ability to learn other software programs utilized by TPH.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restrictions.

The academic year only position pay range is $28,000-31,500 based on experience. The position comes with full benefits.
