Die Cast Tech IVA (Pourer)
- Ladling molten metals from melting pot to material handling equipment and die cast machines.
- Re-melting metal and alloy as needed.
- Starting die cast equipment and keep equipment functioning by clearing faults, cleaning, clearing, unjamming and adjusting and restarting machines when needed.
- Assist in removing and replacing dies, making adjustments to air lines, detectors and nozzle temperature.
- Use power sweeper to maintain clean floors, removing excessive slag or metal spills from floors and machines.
- Dump chip carts at tumblers and dump scrap.
Must wear protective personal equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection, face shields, gloves, heat shield protective clothing and footwear.
Qualifications
PAY: $24.36 plus .75 Second Shift Premium
HOURS: Tuesday-Friday 3pm-1am
Requirements: Must have prior manufacturing experience. Must be able to read and do basic math.
Qualifications: Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently. Must be able to bend and reach frequently. Must be able to work in hot environment. HS Diploma or GED required.
