The Residential HVAC Warranty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and servicing residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems under manufacturer or company warranty. This role ensures that warranty issues are resolved efficiently while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and following manufacturer guidelines.

• Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems under warranty, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and air handlers.
• Perform warranty service calls and verify warranty coverage according to manufacturer or company policies.
• Troubleshoot system issues such as airflow problems, refrigerant leaks, electrical faults, and component failures.
• Replace defective parts and components covered under warranty.
• Complete service reports, warranty documentation, and submit claims accurately.
• Communicate with homeowners to explain issues, repairs, and system operation.
• Coordinate with manufacturers, suppliers, and internal departments for warranty approvals and parts.
• Ensure all work complies with company standards, safety regulations, and HVAC codes.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles in proper condition.
• Provide recommendations for system maintenance or non-warranty repairs when needed.

• 3+ years of residential HVAC service or installation experience required.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of residential HVAC systems and controls.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Time management and ability to work independently.
• Basic computer or mobile device skills for service reporting.
• Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs.
• Work in confined spaces, attics, basements, and rooftops.
• Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work in varying weather conditions.
