POSITION SUMMARY: The OR Clinical Analyst serves as the primary Surgical Services resource for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of intraoperative documentation and surgical charge capture within the electronic health record. This role collaborates closely with Anesthesia, Radiology, Laboratory, Materials Management, and Finance to ensure complete and compliant documentation supporting appropriate billing. When operationally necessary, this position may function in a limited direct patient care role.
The OR Clinical Analyst also partners with Information Services and Clinical Informatics to maintain and optimize Epic perioperative workflows, ensuring the system effectively supports clinical documentation, charge capture, and overall patient care in the operating room.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate's Degree in Nursing
- State of Alaska RN License
- BLSP (CPR) & ACLS Certifications from the American Heart Association
PREFERRED:
- Three years of nursing experience as an OR Circulator
- PALS Certification
