Training for all technician tasks will be provided.

Why You’ll Love Working With Us

  • Opportunity to cross‑train in medical optometry/ophthalmology
  • Growth potential within a respected eye‑care practice
What You’ll Do

Optician Responsibilities (Primary Focus)
  • Guide patients in selecting frames and lenses that fit their needs and style
  • Placing orders with our off-site lab, and performing quality checks on eyeglass jobs
  • Take precise optical measurements (PDs, seg heights, etc.)
  • Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and pricing
  • Process and track optical lab orders
  • Perform adjustments, repairs, and fittings
  • Maintain frame inventory and merchandising
  • Verify vision insurance and handle payments
Ophthalmic Technician Responsibilities (Entry-Level)

• Perform basic pre‑testing (visual acuity, autorefraction, tonometry if trained)
• Gather patient history and prepare exam rooms
• Assist with diagnostic imaging (OCT, Optos)
• Support the clinical team with patient flow and exam readiness

What We’re Looking For
• Optician experience required
• ABO certification preferred
• Interest in learning ophthalmic technician skills (training provided)
• EHR experience is a plus
• Strong communication, professionalism, and patient‑care skills

Schedule & Compensation
