Driver and Shop Support at Petersons Harley-Davidson of Miami LLC – Miami, Florida

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Motorcycle Driver / Delivery Specialist to support both our Sales and Service Departments. This role is primarily responsible for the transport, delivery, and pickup of motorcycles between customers, auctions, vendors, and dealership locations.

In addition to driving responsibilities, this position provides light porter and detailing support to ensure motorcycles are clean, organized, and ready for delivery or service.
This is a physically active, independent role ideal for someone comfortable driving trucks and trailers, handling motorcycles, and representing the Harley-Davidson brand professionally off-site.

This role is critical to daily dealership operations and involves lot organization, vehicle detailing, assisting technicians, transporting motorcycles, and supporting both customers and staff. This is a physically demanding, hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, can operate independently, and enjoys working around motorcycles. MOTORCYCLE ENDORSEMENT IS A MUST.

Primary Responsibilities – Driving & Transportation

• Deliver and pick up motorcycles for sales and service customers
• Transport motorcycles to and from dealers, customers, and other locations
• Load, secure, and unload motorcycles using trailers, trucks, lifts, and forklifts
• Perform pre-transport inspections to ensure motorcycles are safely secured
• Operate dealership vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and company safety policies
• Maintain delivery schedules and communicate clearly with management and departments
• Represent the dealership professionally when interacting with customers and vendors

Secondary Responsibilities – Shop Support & Detailing

• Move motorcycles in the warehouse, lot, showroom, and service areas as needed
• Assist with pulling motorcycles in and out of storage, sales, service and shop bays
• Perform light detailing (washing, drying, wipe-downs, final prep) for deliveries and service returns
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of transport equipment and work areas

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all dealership and OSHA safety policies
• Demonstrate defensive driving and safe loading/unloading practices
• Properly use tie-downs, straps, ramps, and protective equipment
• Report vehicle or equipment issues promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record & motorcycle endorsement (required)
• Ability to drive trucks and trailers (required)
• Forklift operation experience (preferred)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong time management and communication skills
• Professional appearance and customer-facing attitude
