Superintendent at Black Hills Exteriors – Rapid City, South Dakota

Black Hills Exteriors is looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations and ensure construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget across multiple job sites. The Superintendent plays a hands-on leadership role in the field, reinforcing a strong safety culture while ensuring every project meets Omnia’s standards for craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

• Lead daily construction site operations and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, and vendors
• Conduct job site meetings and communicate progress updates with project managers and leadership
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance across all job sites
• Inspect work to ensure it meets design specifications, quality standards, and building codes
• Coordinate materials delivery, equipment, and staffing needs
• Track job progress and help resolve issues that could impact schedule or budget
• Train and mentor field personnel to support a high-performing team

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years of construction experience, including supervisory or foreman responsibilities
• Proven ability to manage multiple job sites and field teams
• Strong understanding of construction safety practices and job site management
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and project schedules

Preferred

• OSHA 30 certification
• Experience with construction management software (Procore, Buildertrend, etc.)
• Bilingual English/Spanish
