This role provides a high-impact opportunity to contribute to the financing and execution of affordable housing projects across the country. The Senior Real Estate Analyst will work closely with mortgage banking and investment sales teams, leveraging analytical expertise to evaluate commercial and multifamily real estate, conduct due diligence, and structure financing solutions. You will manage multiple loan opportunities simultaneously, oversee transactions from inception to closing, and interact with both internal teams and external stakeholders. This position demands strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Accountabilities:
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of commercial and multifamily real estate, including pro forma valuations, loan sizing, and market research.
  • Support mortgage banking and investment sales professionals in sourcing, executing, and closing affordable housing transactions.
  • Prepare formal loan submissions, internal approval memos, and maintain accurate records in internal systems such as Salesforce.
  • Lead deal processing from application to closing, ensuring timely execution and compliance with all relevant guidelines.
  • Review due diligence materials and market data, including rent/sale comps, capitalization rates, and vacancy trends.
  • Interface with external stakeholders, including property owners, capital providers, vendors, consultants, and legal counsel.
  • Assist in strategic decision-making by organizing and analyzing internal records, budgets, and event-related information.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Real Estate, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in Affordable Housing Finance.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple loans and transactions simultaneously (5+ active loans preferred).
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, charts, and advanced formatting), Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of an organization.
  • Experience supporting end-to-end real estate transactions, including due diligence, valuations, and loan structuring.
