Position Overview

Quevera is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Summer Intern to join our team. This internship is available to individuals interested in being sponsored for a security clearance. In addition to being sponsored for a clearance Quevera offers you a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on real-world technology challenges in data, AI, and secure software development

Our interns collaborate with experienced engineers and technical leaders while contributing to projects that support critical mission and enterprise environments. This is an excellent opportunity to build technical skills, gain professional experience, and learn how advanced technology is applied in secure, high-performance settings, while being sponsored for a security clearance.

This position does not offer travel or housing allowances.

Responsibilities

Assist with development, testing, and enhancement of software applications and technical solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on data analysis, visualization, and technical research efforts
Support research related to emerging technologies, cybersecurity trends, and system performance
Assist with technical documentation for internal and external stakeholders
Contribute to software development and engineering tasks under the guidance of senior team members
Participate in team meetings, design discussions, and problem-solving sessions

Qualifications

Currently a junior or senior pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience with software development concepts and practices
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or JavaScript
Experience using version control tools such as Git
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Strong communication and organizational skills
U.S. citizenship required, as is required to obtain a security clearance

Internship Details

Location: Columbia, Maryland (U.S. based)
Duration: 10–12 weeks (Summer)
